Alpine HDS-990
The Alpine HDS-990 is a high-resolution digital media player (no built-in AM/FM tuner) from Alpine’s Status series. It features a two-piece setup: a hidden “black box” source unit and a dash-mounted “commander” control unit with display and physical controls. The HDS-990 supports Hi-Res Audio playback (up to 24-bit / 192 kHz) via direct USB connection and also provides wireless playback via Bluetooth codecs like LDAC, aptX, and others. It includes built-in amplifier channels for modest speaker support and is built to integrate easily with existing factory or aftermarket audio systems via multiple inputs and outputs.
