The Sundown Audio VEX-10 is a 10-inch pro-audio midrange/mid-bass driver engineered for high-output performance, SPL systems, and custom car audio installations. Featuring a real carbon-fiber cone, high-strength ferrite motor with a neodymium pole-cap, and dual shorting rings, it delivers strong mid-bass response with excellent clarity and smooth frequency behavior. Built with a 3-inch voice coil, vented cast frame, and rear venting for efficient cooling, the VEX-10 handles 500 W RMS of continuous power and offers flexible 4 ohm or 8 ohm single-voice-coil (SVC) impedance options to suit various amplifier configurations. With high sensitivity (~96.6 dB) and a robust design, this driver is ideal for door pods, midrange upgrade applications, and loud performance sound systems.

About The Product
With an enormous 2.5” voice coil and a super-efficient cooling system, the VEX handles 300 watts of power with ease. We went with real carbon-fiber cone to handle high SPL systems without breakup, and achieved a 94.3dB sensitivity by combining a large diameter, high strength ferrite motor with a neodymium pole-cap magnet! A sturdy cast-aluminum frame features extensive spider cavity vents to further increase thermal power handling. The Sundown Audio VEX is one of the loudest, best sounding high-efficiency midrange drivers in existence.
