Pioneer TS‑ME770TSB
The Pioneer TS‑ME770TSB is a 7.7″ (≈ 19.5 cm) marine‑grade tower speaker pair (wakeboard/tower style) engineered for high‑output outdoor/boat/wake‑tower use with built‑in LED lighting and weather‑proof construction. It supports up to 100 W RMS nominal power and 250 W peak power, with a nominal impedance of 4 Ω, a sensitivity of approximately 90 dB (1 W/1 m), and a frequency response spanning 42 Hz to 23,000 Hz. The driver uses a mica‑reinforced IMPP™ (Injection Moulded Polypropylene) monocoque woofer cone and a dome tweeter, housed in an enclosure rated IPX7 for water resistance and meeting the UV‑exposure standard ASTM D4329 — making it durable for harsh marine environments.

About The Product
The TS-ME770TSW 7.7″ 250W Max Power, IPX7/ASTM D4329 Rated, Mica Reinforced IMPP™ woofer cone, 1 1/8” Tweeter, Sports Grills White Design, Built-In RGB LED Lighting – 2-Way Marine Tower Speakers (pair) feature modern and stylish grills in a white pearl finish that blend perfectly into the marine environment. These speakers incorporate adjustments to perfectly align the grilles and backplates to your requirements, allowing you to install them at a variety of angles.
ME-Series Speakers
Pioneer ME-series speakers are protected from sun and water exposure, meeting both IPX7 and ASTM D4329 UV Resistance standards for all-weather reliability. The Mica Reinforced IMPP monocoque cone with a butyl rubber surround is constructed using an advanced in-mold thermo-bonding technique, ensuring superior water resistance while maintaining high-quality, powerful sound. The symmetrical motor design, with high-strength suspension, is optimized to provide stability, linearity, and clear, low-distortion sound reproduction.
Built-in RGB LED
Enhance the look of your boat! These speakers feature a pre-installed RGB LED backlight system that uses the semi-transparent cone as a diffuser for a multi-color light source. Simply connect the four dedicated wires to an external LED controller (not included) to create a look that matches your new sound!
IPX7 Rating
This speaker is rated IPX7 according to the Ingress Protection rating system. It has been tested in a controlled environment and shown to be water-resistant under certain conditions, meeting the requirements of classification IPX7 as described by the international standard IEC 60529 – Degrees of Protection Provided by Enclosures. Despite this classification, the device is not resistant to water damage in every situation.
Advanced Assembling Technology (Cone Structure)
Adhesives, when exposed to sunlight, are typically the weakest point and a source of mechanical failure. These speakers are assembled without adhesive, thanks to an advanced assembly technology that uses heat-welding directly to the speaker chassis and other components. This minimizes mechanical joints, avoids conventional glue, and greatly enhances acoustic performance and longevity.
Fully Covered Basket
For added protection against water and moisture infiltration, the speaker basket is manufactured using temperature-resistant composite materials to aid in heat dissipation with the magnet and voice-coil circuit. This basket is completely sealed at the rear of the magnet to prevent infiltration, protecting the speaker’s electrical system.
Gold Tinsel Wire and Terminals
Gold tinsel wire and gold-plated wire terminals are used to enhance resistance to corrosion and improve current transfer.
Thermo-Bonded Elastomer Surround
Each speaker utilizes a thermo-bonded elastomer surround that resists color fading and running, thereby extending the product’s longevity.
Unique Spider Material
For marine applications, Pioneer designed an all-new rear suspension. Unique materials allow only air to pass through, maintaining unrestricted cone movement and overall performance while protecting the speaker coil from water infiltration, which can cause corrosion and breakage.
Mica Reinforced IMPP™ Seamless Cone Design
An extremely rigid yet lightweight cone is essential to avoid cone failure and distortion under high power. Pioneer’s IMPP™ composite cones meet this need perfectly. CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) was applied to create a curvilinear cone of varying thicknesses during the injection process, maintaining a balance between lightness (responsiveness) and rigidity (precise audio and tight bass). Mica integration improves rigidity-to-weight ratio and creates a perfectly balanced cone across the entire bandwidth.
To further improve rigidity and longevity, this marine speaker cone is manufactured without joints or glue. The voice coil former, main cone, and central dust cap, normally three separate pieces, are now a single monocoque construction.
Polyimide (PI) Wave Guide Tweeter
Polyetherimide can withstand high temperatures while maintaining stable electrical and mechanical properties over a wide frequency range. Its strength-to-weight ratio makes it ideal for high-frequency vibrations of the dome and thermal management of the voice coil. This hard dome tweeter is designed with a front diffuser and wave guide to maintain perfect audio balance during on-axis to off-axis listening.
Proprietary Offset Driver System
A proprietary offset driver system produces a smooth frequency response, and its uniquely shaped horn delivers loud, uncompromising sound for people enjoying water sports at the back of the boat.
