About The Product

TS-D10LS4 10″ Shallow-Mount Subwoofer

If your vehicle’s audio system isn’t delivering the sound you want, the TS-D10LS4 10″ shallow-mount subwoofer may be the perfect solution. Designed to handle up to 350 W RMS, this subwoofer delivers impressive low frequencies with precision and power. It features an injection-molded polypropylene (IMPP™) cone reinforced with aramid fibers for exceptional rigidity and strength. The butyl rubber surround supports the cone during excursions, keeping distortion low even at high volume levels. With a mounting depth of just 3-1/4”, it fits in spaces where traditional subwoofers cannot, and its 4Ω impedance is ideal for bridging amps or building multi-subwoofer setups.

Easily Upgrade to High Performance

The D subwoofer integrates Pioneer’s advanced technologies to produce thick, deep, powerful, and accurate bass. It combines high-quality sound with high power handling and installation flexibility, performing equally well in both sealed (acoustic suspension) and ported (bass reflex) enclosures. This makes the D subwoofer the ultimate all-around performer, delivering bass you don’t just hear—you feel it.

Shallow Compact Design

Pioneer’s slim subwoofer line is designed for flexible installation in a wide range of vehicles. Patent-pending innovations allow these subwoofers to deliver bass typically associated with full-size subwoofers, but in a compact form that can be mounted behind or under seats. The shallow depth enables the use of smaller enclosures and opens up installation locations previously impossible for traditional subwoofers.

Aramid Fiber Interlaced IMPP™

Polypropylene (PP) is a tough thermoplastic resin with low mass and high damping properties, ideal for speaker cones. By blending aramid fibers into the injection-molded PP cone, Pioneer engineers created an ultra-thin, low-mass, and rigid IMPP™ cone. This design produces natural, detailed sound with deep and powerful bass, while maintaining cone stability at high volumes.

Butyl Rubber Suspension

The butyl rubber surround is made from a specially blended, highly durable, and moisture-resistant compound. It keeps the cone moving in a precise linear direction, reduces unwanted vibration from the cone to the basket, and ensures consistent performance across excursions. This minimizes distortion and enhances bass frequency response.

Conex Meta-Aramid Fiber

Pioneer’s Conex Meta-Aramid Fiber spider supports the voice coil while damping cone vibrations, improving linearity in sound reproduction. The dual-rear spider design increases precision during long excursions without adding mechanical resistance, providing full control and accurate bass in a compact subwoofer footprint.

Deep Bass

A rigid, lightweight cone alone is not enough for strong bass. This subwoofer uses a strontium magnet, large copper voice coil, and a glass-imide voice-coil former to improve bass control under high excursions and ensure better heat dissipation.
