Sundown Audio SML-8 D4 is an 8″ shallow-mount car audio subwoofer engineered to deliver tight, deep bass in compact enclosures where space is limited. The “D4” version features a dual 4-ohm voice coil for flexible wiring options with a wide range of amplifiers, making it easy to match to your system’s impedance. Built with a vented magnetic gap and pole piece for improved cooling, a high-temp 4-layer copper voice coil, stitched “Mini-XL” tinsel leads, and reinforced suspension, this shallow driver performs reliably while providing strong low-end output in sealed or small ported boxes perfect for under-seat installs, stealth mounts, or custom tight-fit enclosures.
