Sundown Audio SML-12 D4
The Sundown Audio SML-12 D4 is a 12-inch shallow-mount subwoofer built to deliver deep, accurate bass in tight-fit installations where traditional full-depth subs cannot be used. Its dual 4-ohm voice coil (D4) configuration provides wiring flexibility to 2 Ω or 8 Ω, making it compatible with a wide range of amplifiers. Engineered with Sundown’s proven shallow-series technology, the SML-12 D4 features a vented magnetic gap, vented pole piece, high-temperature copper voice coil, stitched “Mini-XL” tinsel leads, and a strong suspension system to maintain output and durability even in compact enclosures. This driver is ideal for behind-seat boxes, under-seat systems, or custom stealth enclosures where maximum bass is needed with limited mounting depth.
