The PRX690C is a 6″ × 9″, 2-way component speaker system from Memphis’s Power Reference (PRX) series, engineered to deliver a rich and reliable sound upgrade for factory audio setups. It features a polypropylene woofer cone with a butyl (polyurethane) surround for tight mid-bass reproduction, combined with separate 1″ poly-dome tweeters and external 2-way crossovers to provide clear, detailed high frequencies. With power handling rated at 60 W RMS and 120 W peak, and a sensitivity of 90 dB, these speakers are efficient and compatible with both head units and modest amplifiers. The frequency response spans approximately 51 Hz to 20 kHz, and the woofers have a top-mount depth of about 3″, making them suitable for many OEM mounting locations.
