About The Product
The MVH-MS512BS is designed to accommodate the smartphone lifestyle. When using Pioneer Smart Sync with Amazon Alexa, it opens a new world for this digital media receiver. Using this application, you can broaden your access, whether it be wired or wireless. The receiver has a built-in amplifier and is equipped with three RCA pre-outs at 4V each. It features a 13-band customizable graphic equalizer, which increases to 31 bands when utilizing Pioneer Smart Sync. The crossover network can be set to either Standard Mode or Network Mode. Additional features include the Pioneer Smart Sync app with Amazon Alexa, Bluetooth®, USB direct control for iPhone®, and much more.

Conformal coating protects the PCB against corrosion, making it ideal for marine use, powersport applications like a side-by-side vehicle, or in a convertible car, allowing you to clearly read the display while driving with the top down.*

Pioneer Smart Sync
Pioneer Smart Sync is a highly evolved app, available for both iOS and Android OS, that utilizes the power of a connected smartphone to expand the features and user interface of compatible Pioneer in-dash receivers. With support for either a Bluetooth® or USB connection, the link between your smartphone and the in-dash receiver can be either wired or wireless. Through Pioneer Smart Sync, you can access many popular smartphone apps for maps, messages, music, connect to an OBDII module (sold separately), and more.
Pioneer Smart Sync is a powerful wireless remote control that allows you to easily tune sound via the app’s touchscreen interface and save those settings directly on your smartphone.

Access music on your smartphone directly from the Pioneer receiver. Search for Artists, Albums, and Songs using Pioneer’s intuitive interface. With Pioneer receivers you can also access and control select music and radio apps on your smartphone.
Bluetooth
This receiver makes hands-free phone calls simple. Pioneer’s included external microphone provides crystal clear sound. Stream music, podcasts, audiobooks, and more from your compatible phone or other Bluetooth® devices.

USB Auto Switch
The receiver includes the USB Auto Switch feature, so when the phone is connected via USB, the listener has the option to choose whether the receiver uses the phone as a source or just charges the device.

Pioneer Advanced Sound Retriever
Hear more detail, warmth, and clarity that the artist originally intended, even from compressed audio files. Whether from USB or streaming services, and regardless of the level of audio compression from your lossy music sources, Pioneer’s ASR enhances audio playback of compressed audio files, such as MP3s, by applying an algorithm to the audio signals. This counteracts the compression effects, providing a more detailed and natural sound.
Flexible Audio Output Management
The Pioneer Standard (2-Way) / Network (3-Way) function allows you to divide the audio signal into different frequency bands. You can then make precise adjustments with low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass filters, as well as level, phase, and other parameters to match the characteristics of each speaker unit. Select STD for a Sub/Rear/Front setup, or NTW for a Low/Mid/High setup.
Audio Equalizer
The 13-band equalizer allows for detailed adjustments to your acoustic settings. This lets you tailor the equalization to match your car’s interior acoustics and speaker characteristics as desired. Multiple EQ presets ensure that even users with basic acoustic knowledge can learn and enjoy the benefits of using an equalizer.
Time Alignment
This feature allows for delay time and synchronizing from each speaker to be adjusted to correct any phase mismatches in the sound resulting from the listening position. Simply measure the distance between your listening position and the speakers, then enter these measurements into the Pioneer receiver.
MIXTRAX
Keep the party going with MIXTRAX®, an innovative Pioneer technology that creates a non-stop mix of your music library complete with a range of DJ-inspired effects. Drawing from Pioneer’s rich DJ heritage and passion for music, MIXTRAX delivers a unique DJ-infused listening experience. It takes music from an iPhone, iPod, USB device, or certain Android devices and plays it back with added transitions and effects, creating a virtual DJ inside the Pioneer receiver.
MIXTRAX also features club-style illumination that enhances the mood with a dynamic dance club-like lighting effect. As MIXTRAX begins, lights start pulsing to the beat of the music, adding an extra level of entertainment. Choose among multiple patterns of lighting variations from sound pressure level or low-pass synchronization modes.
