The Pioneer AVH‑3500NEX is a high‑capability single‑DIN multimedia receiver featuring a motorized 6.94″ (≈7″) fold‑out touchscreen, CD/DVD player, built‑in Bluetooth® for hands‑free calls and audio streaming, and full smartphone integration via wired Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®.  It supports the WebLink® app for YouTube and other mobile apps, is SiriusXM‑ready for satellite radio, and offers strong audio features including six‑channel 4‑volt pre‑outs, high‑resolution audio playback, a 13‑band graphic EQ, customizable screen backgrounds and color keys.

With Siri® Eyes Free, Google VR voice control, and a brilliant 7.0″ display, accessing your favorite media is a breeze. This receiver includes features like WebLink® to enhance your phone’s capabilities. Add an HD Radio™ tuner, SiriusXM-Ready™, and Bluetooth®, and you have a receiver that covers all your needs.

1DIN Motorized Display

Thanks to its design, which integrates a 7.0″ motorized screen, the AVH-3500NEX allows you to enjoy new technologies in the car, even with the limited space that only a 1DIN format can provide. The receiver screen can be hidden automatically when the vehicle is parked, reducing the risk of prying eyes.

CD and DVD Player

Whether you want to play a basic audio CD, burned or original, or audio/video from a DVD, this Pioneer AV receiver is the perfect solution for your collection of discs.

Apple CarPlay (Wired)

This receiver features Apple CarPlay, the smarter, safer and more fun way to use your iPhone® in the car. Apple CarPlay gives iPhone users an incredibly intuitive way to make calls, use Maps, listen to music, and verbally send and listen to messages with just a word or a touch. Apple CarPlay requires iPhone 5 device or newer with the latest version of iOS.

Android Auto™ (Wired)

This receiver features Android Auto, which extends the Android platform into the car in a way that’s purpose-built for driving. Android Auto automatically brings you useful information and organizes it into simple cards that appear just when they’re needed. It’s designed to minimize distraction so you can stay focused on the road ahead. Android Auto is compatible with Android phones running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later. Android Auto may not be available on all Android smartphones.

Weblink® Smartphone Interface (Wired)

WebLink enables smartphone app projection from many popular Android® and iOS® devices to in-vehicle touch displays. WebLink for Pioneer AV receivers expands in-car entertainment with an amazing array of apps.

Pioneer Vozsis with Alexa app

Invite Amazon’s versatile voice assistant into your car with a WebLink-compatible Pioneer in-dash multimedia receiver and the Vozsis with Alexa app. With a tap of the touchscreen and your voice, you can access Amazon Prime Music, Audible audiobooks, your Kindle library, Flash Briefings, and more to stay informed and entertained during your drive.

Bluetooth

Back up camera input (1-camera)

Back up safely in any crowded parking area. Install a rear-view camera to use the receiver’s built-in parking guides for easy parking, with adjustable parking lines and full screen image for ease of use.

Pioneer’s NEX in-dash receivers were the first in the industry to offer playback of files encoded as high-res FLAC up to 192kHz/24 bit and provide playback output at CD quality. With Pioneer, your high-res FLAC is no longer confined to your home hi-fi system – put your music on the move.

Pioneer Advanced Sound Retriever

Hear more detail, warmth, and clarity that the artist originally intended, even from compressed audio files. Whether from USB or streaming services, and regardless of the level of audio compression from your lossy music sources, Pioneer’s ASR enhances audio playback of compressed audio files, such as MP3s, by applying an algorithm to the audio signals. This counteracts the compression effects, providing a more detailed and natural sound.

Flexible Audio Output Management

The Pioneer Standard (2-Way) / Network (3-Way) function allows you to divide the audio signal into different frequency bands. You can then make precise adjustments with low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass filters, as well as level, phase, and other parameters to match the characteristics of each speaker unit. Select STD for a Sub/Rear/Front setup, or NTW for a Low/Mid/High setup.

Audio Equalizer

The 13-band equalizer allows for detailed adjustments to your acoustic settings. This lets you tailor the equalization to match your car’s interior acoustics and speaker characteristics as desired. Multiple EQ presets ensure that even users with basic acoustic knowledge can learn and enjoy the benefits of using an equalizer.

Time alignment

This feature allows for delay time and synchronizing from each speaker to be adjusted to correct any phase mismatches in the sound resulting from the listening position. No need for any acoustics degree to do the job, simply measure the distance between your listening position and the speakers, then enter these measurements into the Pioneer receiver.
