About The Product
Lightweight polymide (PI) tweeter diaphragm loaded uniquely shaped wave guide provides natural loaded clear vocals subwoofer wide dispersion.
Small Space, Big Bass
The trapezoidal shape of the enclosure is designed to create greater rigidity and reduce internal standing waves while minimizing any space lost by matching the typical angle of the car’s rear seat. The TS-WX106B is fully carpeted, creating a non-slip, durable, and scratch-resistant surface.
IMPP™ cone
An extremely rigid yet lightweight cone is essential to avoid cone failure and distortion under high power. Pioneer’s IMPP™ composite cones meet this need perfectly. Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) was applied to create a curvilinear cone with varying thicknesses during the injection process, maintaining a balance between lightness (responsiveness) and rigidity (precise audio and tight bass).
Keep it cool
This subwoofer uses Pioneer’s VCCS (Voice-Coil Cooling System) to create better airflow around the motor drive unit, including the voice coil within the extended pole-piece and magnet. This design achieves better power handling and heat management within the sealed enclosure.
