Description

Pioneer TS‑A4671F

The Pioneer TS‑A4671F is a 4″ × 6″ (≈ 10 × 15 cm) 4‑way coaxial speaker pair from the A‑Series, engineered for installations in vehicles where space is limited but sound quality upgrade is desired. It handles up to 210 W peak power and around 30 W RMS (nominal) continuous power.  Its frequency response spans approximately 34 Hz to 49 kHz, impedance is 4 Ω, and sensitivity is rated at 88 dB (1 W/1m). It features a carbon & mica‑reinforced IMPP™ (Injection Moulded Polypropylene) woofer cone, with the “Open & Smooth™” sound concept designed for improved off‑axis performance. The mounting cut‑out size is approximately 95 × 153 mm and the mounting depth around 42 mm.

About The Product

The Pioneer TS-A4671F 4″x6″ – 4-way Coaxial Speakers can handle up to 210 Watts Max Power (30 Watts Nominal). The tweeters are made up of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) 11mm tweeter, 11mm super tweeter, and 1-5/8″ cellulose fiber cone midrange. The 4″ x 6″ woofer cone is made of carbon and mica reinforced Injection Molded Polypropylene IMPP™.

A Series

The highly efficient design of the Pioneer A Series speakers intentionally matches the subwoofer and full-range loudspeakers to provide seamless and smooth sound characteristics, with dynamic, high-impact bass that lets you hear and feel the music. Pioneer’s OPEN & SMOOTH sound concept ensures a seamless transition between the midrange and tweeter drivers, delivering a uniform off-axis frequency response optimized for automotive applications, where one or more speakers are often aimed away from the listeners’ ears. The A Series lineup enhances audio details and improves acoustic performance.

Loud & Clear

These speakers are as efficient, if not more efficient, than the stock speakers found in typical cars on the market. They allow you to enjoy a coherent sound without missing any details and without exaggerated response, providing improved precision and more details across the entire audio bandwidth. Their high efficiency also enables you to enjoy exceptional sound from low power sources, and their ability to handle high power allows you to connect them to an external amplifier, letting them shine even more!

Open & Smooth

Pioneer’s OPEN & SMOOTH sound concept ensures a seamless and smooth transition between the midrange and tweeter drivers, delivering a uniform off-axis frequency response. This design is optimized for automotive applications where one or more speakers are often aimed away from the listeners’ ears.

Carbon and Mica reinforced IMPP™ cone

An extremely rigid yet lightweight cone is essential to avoid cone failure and distortion under high power. Pioneer’s IMPP™ composite cones meet this need perfectly. CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) was applied to create a curvilinear cone with varying thicknesses during the injection process, maintaining a balance between lightness (responsiveness) and rigidity (precise audio and tight bass). To further improve this rigidity-to-weight ratio, Pioneer uses an advanced process that integrates different materials, such as carbon and mica, which resonate at different frequencies, creating a perfectly balanced cone across the entire bandwidth.

Cellulose fiber midrange with (PET) hard dome tweeter

The stable electrical and mechanical properties over a wide frequency range, as well as the strength-to-weight ratio of these materials, make them perfect for the high-frequency vibrations of the dome. We have also carefully designed these components with a front diffuser to help maintain a perfect audio balance during the transition from on-axis to off-axis listening. This allows for a more balanced sound source between the different audio points in the car.

Keep it simple and clean

Avoid messy installations and keep your speaker wiring as clean as possible. These speakers use an in-line crossover design and/or an integrated crossover already installed on the speaker basket. This eliminates the need for a bulky external box typically found with passive crossovers, saving you from having to find extra space for it. Additionally, it removes the need for extra wires going in and out of your door to accommodate a woofer in the door with a matching tweeter on your dash.

CarSoundfit App

Pioneer’s Car Sound Fit app is a car sound simulator that lets you experience what your car could sound like using your own smartphone. You’ll be able to hear the difference between stock speakers and Pioneer’s various audio options, and see how the quality of Pioneer speakers can enhance your in-car experience.
