Pioneer TS‑A4103
The Pioneer TS‑A4103 is a 4″ × 10″ (10 × 25 cm) 2‑way coaxial speaker pair from Pioneer’s A‑Series, designed for installations where a non‑standard oval size is required (commonly rear‑deck or older vehicles with 4×10 panels). It features an IMPP™ (Injection Moulded Polypropylene) woofer cone and a 42 mm (≈1.625″) cellulose‑fiber cone midrange/tweeter. The speakers are rated for 35 W RMS continuous and 120 W peak power with a 4 ohm nominal impedance and a sensitivity of approx. 91 dB (1 W/1 m). The frequency response spans approximately 38 Hz to 23 kHz, making it capable of both decent bass extension and clear highs.

About The Product
The 4″ x 10″ speaker is often mounted in a vehicle’s rear deck, supporting front speakers and pumping up the volume in your vehicle. Here, we feature Injection Molded Polypropylene (IMPP) technology, high-energy strontium magnets, and urethane surrounds for tight, powerful sound.
A Series
The highly efficient design of the Pioneer A Series speakers intentionally matches the subwoofer and full-range loudspeakers to provide seamless and smooth sound characteristics, with dynamic, high-impact bass that lets you hear and feel the music. Pioneer’s OPEN & SMOOTH sound concept ensures a seamless transition between the midrange and tweeter drivers, delivering a uniform off-axis frequency response optimized for automotive applications, where one or more speakers are often aimed away from the listeners’ ears. The A Series lineup enhances audio details and improves acoustic performance.
Loud & Clear
These speakers are as efficient, if not more efficient, than the stock speakers found in typical cars on the market. They allow you to enjoy a coherent sound without missing any details and without exaggerated response, providing improved precision and more details across the entire audio bandwidth. Their high efficiency also enables you to enjoy exceptional sound from low power sources, and their ability to handle high power allows you to connect them to an external amplifier, letting them shine even more!
Open & Smooth
Pioneer’s OPEN & SMOOTH sound concept ensures a seamless and smooth transition between the midrange and tweeter drivers, delivering a uniform off-axis frequency response. This design is optimized for automotive applications where one or more speakers are often aimed away from the listeners’ ears.
IMPP™ Cone
An extremely rigid yet lightweight cone is essential to avoid cone failure and distortion under high power. Pioneer’s IMPP™ composite cones meet this need perfectly. Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) was applied to create a curvilinear cone with varying thicknesses during the injection process, maintaining a balance between lightness (responsiveness) and rigidity (precise audio and tight bass).
Cellulose Fiber Midrange and Tweeters
The stable electrical and mechanical properties over a wide frequency range, along with the strength-to-weight ratio of these materials, make them perfect for the high-frequency vibrations of the cone.
Keep It Simple and Clean
Avoid messy installations and keep your speaker wiring as clean as possible. These speakers use an in-line crossover design and/or an integrated crossover already installed on the speaker basket. This eliminates the need for a bulky external box typically found with passive crossovers, saving you from having to find extra space for it. Additionally, it removes the need for extra wires going in and out of your door to accommodate a woofer in the door with a matching tweeter on your dash.
