The Sundown Audio SD-4 8″ D2 v.4 is a compact, high-performance subwoofer designed to deliver tight, accurate bass in small enclosure applications. The dual 2-ohm voice coil (D2) configuration allows flexible wiring to 1 Ω or 4 Ω, making it ideal for pairing with modern mono amplifiers. As part of Sundown’s 4th-generation SD-4 Series, this subwoofer features a lightweight neodymium motor, an 8-layer high-temperature copper voice coil, a large aluminum Faraday ring for smooth response, stitched tinsel leads, and a computer-optimized foam “W” surround. Optimized for sealed enclosures, the SD-4 8″ D2 v.4 delivers clean, controlled low-frequency performance while maintaining excellent efficiency and durability in tight installations.
