The Sundown Audio SD-4 8″ D4 v.4 is a high-quality shallow-mount subwoofer designed for tight car audio installations that still deliver solid, deep bass. This v.4 (4th generation) model features a dual 4-ohm voice coil for flexible wiring (2 Ω or 8 Ω) and is optimized for small sealed enclosures, providing accurate and controlled low-end output. Built with a lightweight neodymium motor, a computer-optimized foam “W” surround, an 8-layer copper voice coil, a large aluminum Faraday ring for smooth frequency response, spring-loaded terminals, and stitched-on tinsel leads for durability, the SD-4 combines reliability with strong performance in compact spaces.
