Sundown’s premiere sound quality separates, the SA-6.5CS is a marvel of design and top-tier components.  The midrange features a high-quality cast aluminum basket, housing a cone with a carefully selected blend of paper and wool fibers. This design dampens any unwanted resonances for an incredibly smooth, detailed response. The surround is a high-compliance rubber, engineered to tame edge resonances within the cone.

An FEA-optimized motor was designed in-house, and features a full 6mm one-way linear excursion – thanks to a carefully designed motor and extended pole piece. To increase thermal performance, the SA midrange features a vented magnetic gap and vented voice coil collar.
