Description

The PBR300X1 is a compact mono subwoofer amplifier engineered for tight spaces but serious bass. It uses Boosted Rail Technology (BRT) to deliver clean power efficiently, even at heavy loads. With support for both line‑level and speaker‑level inputs and a variable hi‑level DC offset turn‑on circuit, it’s convenient to install in OEM systems. The small chassis and convection cooling help keep the amp running cool under pressure.

Questions and Answers

Q1: What loads is this amp rated for?
It’s stable at 4Ω, 2Ω, and 1Ω, delivering 75W @ 4Ω, 150W @ 2Ω, and 300W @ 1Ω.
Q2: Can I use speaker (high‑level) input with it?
Yes. It supports high‑level inputs and has an auto turn‑on feature when a signal is detected (using speaker‑level input) and a DC offset trim to adjust that.
Q3: Is there a built‑in crossover?
Yes, a low‑pass crossover (variable from 35Hz‑250Hz at 12 dB/octave Butterworth) is included.
Q4: Does it get hot? How is it cooled?
Cooling is via convection, with an extruded aluminum heatsink. The design and Boosted Rail Tech help manage heat efficiently.
Q5: Can I control bass from the dash?
Yes, there is an optional remote Punch EQ / Remote Bass Boost (0-18 dB at ~45Hz) you can install.
