The DS18 ZXI12.2DRCK is a recone kit designed to restore and repair the DS18 ZXI12.2D high‑excursion 12″ subwoofer by replacing worn or damaged internal moving parts rather than replacing the entire subwoofer. This comprehensive kit includes a replacement cone, dust cap, spider, and voice coil that are precisely matched to the original speaker’s configuration maintaining the 2‑ohm DVC impedance and 3″ voice coil design. It allows you to bring back bass performance and excursion capability to your existing ZXI12.2D sub, with a relatively simple installation using CA Glue or similar adhesives to mount the new parts to the subwoofer’s original basket and magnet.
