Sundown Audio VEX-6.5
The Sundown Audio VEX-6.5 is a 6.5-inch pro-audio midrange/mid-bass driver from the VEX Series, built for high-output car audio and SPL-oriented systems. Available in both 4 ohm and 8 ohm single-voice-coil (SVC) versions, it handles up to 200 W RMS of continuous power, combining a carbon-fiber cone with a high-strength ferrite motor and neodymium pole-cap magnet for efficient performance, strong mid-bass presence, and reliability. Featuring a 2.5-inch voice coil, rear-vented cast frame, and dual shorting rings for smooth response, the VEX-6.5 delivers punchy, detailed sound with about 94 dB sensitivity, making it ideal for custom door pods, kick panels, or midrange upgrade applications in performance car audio setups.
