Questions and Answers

Q1: What is 1465‑73499‑C1?

A1: It is a single 10″ replacement subwoofer (not an entire kit) — meant for replacing or upgrading an existing subwoofer in Harley‑Davidson or Can‑Am powersport audio systems.

Q2: What are its specs (size, power, impedance)?

A2: 10″ woofer; 4 Ω nominal impedance (wired internally from a 2 Ω dual‑voice coil); 300 W RMS / 1200 W peak power handling. Frequency response roughly 20 Hz–750 Hz.

Q3: Is enclosure or mounting hardware included?

A3: No  this is just the bare subwoofer driver. It does not include enclosure, trim ring, grille, or mounting hardware.

Q4: Is this subwoofer marine/off‑road / weather‑resistant?

A4: Yes  it’s derived from a marine‑grade (powersport) series, meaning it is designed with protective features such as water‑repelling mesh, sealed build, suitable for wetter/muddy/off‑road conditions typical for UTV/Can‑Am/H‑D applications.

Q5: Can I use it as a standalone upgrade in any vehicle or system?

A5: Technically yes  but since it’s a bare subwoofer only, you’ll need to build or buy a suitable enclosure and ensure your amplifier and wiring match (4 Ω load, sufficient power handling). It’s best suited for replacing/repairing existing powersport audio enclosures rather than building a full system from scratch.
